Tarapipipi is a man of peace. He has tried to stand in the gap between Maori and Pakeha, but his land is being taken and armies continue to advance toward him. The screams of his people have been heard rising from the smoke and ashes. Will this be an end of Tarapipipi's vow to always be a friend to the Pakeha?
